February 14&15, 2026 - The Accreditation Panel Training Workshop on the Evaluation of Programmes Delivered via Open and Distance Learning (ODL), Offshore, and Industrial Mode was held at Dewan UTeM 1, Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM).

The workshop aimed to strengthen the competency and professional readiness of existing accreditation panel members in conducting programme evaluations involving non-traditional delivery modes, particularly ODL, offshore, and industrial-based learning.

Over the two-day training programme, participants were briefed on the latest MBOT accreditation requirements, structured reporting practices, and key evaluation principles to ensure consistency, quality assurance, and alignment with national and international standards.

The workshop also served as a platform to enhance expert judgement among accreditation panel members, promote best practices in accreditation assessments, and support the continuous improvement of technology programmes under MBOT.
