March 21, 2025 - Ts. Dr. Nor Aznan bin Mohd Nor, Director of Technology and Technical Accreditation Secretariat (TTAS), attended a engagement session at Kolej Poly Tech MARA (KPTM) to deliver a briefing on the accreditation process for technology and technical programmes. The representatives included Mr. Muhammad Izzat Hakimi bin Mustaffa, Assistant Director TTAS and Ms. Umi Munirah binti Mohamad Puzi, Administrative Assistant Officer TTAS.

The purpose of this engagement session was to explore the potential of upgrading KPTM academic programmes to professional programmes recognised by Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT). During the discussion, several academic programmes at KPTM that align with MBOT's technology fields were reviewed. As a result, KPTM intends to assess the feasibility and gaps in implementing programmes under MBOT's accreditation.
